Check your symptoms4 Reasons You Can’t Delay Losing Weight Any Longer
March 15, 2023
Why do you want to lose weight now?
As women, we are constantly told that we need to look a certain way.
The problem is that fashion trends change so much every decade that we are even told to change our bodies to fit.
There was once a time that big bottoms were in. Afterwards, it was what they call heroin chic that was in. This meant that everybody should have no bottoms and everyone should be skinny.
In reality, women are built in different shapes and sizes. We all have different appetites, and we all have different ways of dressing and looking.
We all deserve peace when it comes to our bodies.
If you are in a body right now that makes you feel uncomfortable, then you deserve the space to do something about that without feeling like you are trying to fit into some sort of patriarchal and societal idea.
Maintaining a healthy weight is actually essential for your well-being and happiness.
You may choose to go down the route of replacing a meal with weight loss shakes.
Or you want to start using a meal planner and tracking your intake.
Whichever, you should consider why you should lose weight in the first place so that you feel motivated for your own health.
Of course, heavier weights don’t equal bad health, just like lower weights don’t equal good health.
There is a bigger picture here. So if you are considering losing weight right now, here are some of the reasons you might consider if you are ready to go ahead with it.
At your current weight, what are your blood pressure and cholesterol levels? If these are normal, and you are able to exercise without becoming out of breath, and your weight is pretty stable even if it’s high, you are actually a healthy person.
If your weight is in the obese range, your cholesterol is high, your blood pressure is through the roof, and you have issues with your thyroid, then you are not currently healthy.
Getting a checkup with your doctor will help you determine this before you decide whether or not to lose any weight at all.
Weight loss can increase self-confidence. Sometimes, women don’t enjoy walking into the plus size clothing stores and choosing clothes that may look or feel shapeless on a hanger. We all want to look our best, right?
When you are a certain weight, depending on how you carry it, you might find that you fit differently into different clothing.
For example, if you shed some weight and it comes immediately off your stomach, you may be able to fit into those jeans you’ve been looking at in that shop window.
Some people link their low self-esteem or high self-esteem to their appearance.
If you’re not happy about how you look, you deserve to make some changes, and if your weight negatively affects your self-esteem, then losing that weight makes sense.
You need to ensure that your happiness (or unhappiness) is rooted in your body, though, because there is every chance you could lose all the way and still not feel happiness.
Some women find that they are unable to move their bodies in the exercise they want to because their body is too heavy to do so.
You might decide losing weight is the best option to help you to start cycling or running. It can also help you feel more energized and motivated
No matter what happens in your life, your health is the most important thing you need to live longer and feel amazing.
Now you know the top reasons to go for it, why not begin today if it’s what you want?
