Sadly, getting access to critical medical products can be quite challenging in many parts of Africa, but in some areas this is being simplified meaning urgent health care needs can be met in a timely fashion.

 LifeBank Nigeria liaises with hospitals across Nigeria and the rest of Africa to provide Oxygen, Blood and Blood products; and Vaccines where they are needed.

Tiny Beating Hearts Initiative is a Nigerian organisation and advocate for managing prematurity – a condition in which the WHO rates Nigeria among the top 10 countries globally with the highest incidence of premature babies.  TBHI raises  awareness about how prematurity happens and help available for successfully managing preemies. Recently they have developed a tool allowing hospitals to get access to incubators which are key devices in the care of a premature newborn
